Beautiful  ALS Pendant Available Just in Time for Holiday Shopping

BOXFORD AND WHITMAN, MA, November 14, 2017 –  Today,  Colby Davis and ALS ONE are excited to announce the creation of a new pendant – the Colby Davis ALS pendant.   All proceeds from the pendant sales will benefit ALS ONE ( to further its mission of finding treatments or cure for ALS by 2020 while improving care for those battling ALS now. The pendant, designed with the ALS ONE signature arrow within a global clock is engraved with the words “Time is the most precious commodity in the world” to signify the urgent need to fund research to find treatments for the terminal disease.

The pendant was designed by Phoebe DeAngelo and Lillian Corcoran, friends of the Gosnell family. ALS ONE was founded by Kevin Gosnell, a loving husband, father of three boys and a small business leader, who had the bold vision to unite the ALS community to expedite the path to a treatment for future generations.  Gosnell sadly lost his battle with ALS in August 2016, and ALS ONE remains steadfast to carry on its mission and vision in his honor.  Being close to Kevin Gosnell and his family, DeAngelo and Corcoran wanted to help ALS ONE raise funds and turned to Colby Davis to help them do so. After creating a website on Etsy and making friendship bracelets to pay for the manufacturing costs of the Colby Davis pendant mold, they raised enough money in just three short weeks. Today they hope that with each pendant sold, Kevin’s mission will see fruition and help people worldwide to fight this disease.

“When you purchase a Colby Davis ALS pendant, you are providing hope to so many people that are impacted by this terrible disease,” said Lexi Lombara, co-founder of Colby Davis. “We are proud to partner with ALS ONE to design a pendant to further research and care for those battling ALS that embodies the immense strength and courage that each person, family or friend holds.”

The pendant, which retails for $110, is made of glass enamel and sterling silver and is available in three color options jade, oxidized silver, and white.  For every pendant sold, $60 will be donated to ALS ONE.

“When Kevin Gosnell was diagnosed with ALS, time became increasingly important to him,” said Jen DiMartino, Executive Director of ALS ONE. “’Time is the most precious commodity in the world’ was one of his signature life lessons, and he counseled everyone that he touched to not waste a minute of the precious time we have on this earth to make a difference and give back. Kevin would be very proud of this partnership with Colby Davis, and we are honored to work with them to raise funds to expedite our path to finding ALS treatments and care.”
